finished editing

i have finished editing and i am happy with the final product to get rid of the over exsposure problem i edited the coulor scheme and gave it a bit more character, i also had to play around with the colour with the two images that i have put side to side to give the disapearing act, because the colour of the grass is just a bit darker on one side than the other.
and the last problem that i had to solve was all the footage of the two acters at the house, the camera went weird and was frezing and static and the way i had to solve this was by making all the images of them together still images.

i filmed all my music video and starting editing found that the exsposure was high so will have to find a way to get around that but everything else is ok

i have decided not to do the club music video.
have changed it to a ock song called here without u by 3 door down

and the idea will be an bloke singing and remebering flash backs of him and his girl friend and he ends up falling puta tree and dieing and she ends up at the tree at end of video.

The purpose of a music video

music videos are used to promote the band
it can promote their image. so it allows the audience to know what type of music they play and the type of audience that listens to them. also the way they dress and the way other people dress in the video gives you an idea of their image and by what goes on in the video for instance is it dark or bright.
music video can promote a change to an artist such as their music style and image style so the video allows the audience to see , it can als promote fashion , whether its thier own brand or someone else.
it can can also help to promote a small band by putting them in the music video as a camio with a bigger more popular artist

whats ive learned

today i watched chris cunnigham documentary and it was dark but very interesting the videos all had a narrative and all were unique and clever.
its not personally the kind of video making i wat to do but it was a good insight
